Harlech village, just a few minutes walk away, has a doctors surgery, post office, chemist, grocery and petrol station, as well as several cafes, pubs, takeaways, and restaurants. The minor injury hospital is approximately 20 minutes away.
A regular bus and train service to Barmouth and Porthmadog offers access to a range of shopping outlets and weekly markets. Harlech’s train station also provides a convenient service with connections to Birmingham New Street via Shrewsbury, Telford and Wolverhampton as well as offering a great opportunity to explore the beautiful Llŷn Peninsula.

From Pant Mawr Park you can visit Harlech’s 13th century castle, stroll along unspoilt sandy beaches, go walking in Snowdonia’s countryside or choose from a range of local leisure activities including swimming at Harlech's pool, golf at Royal St. David’s championship course or sea, coarse and fly fishing.
Snowdonia also offers you a wealth of glorious places to visit and enjoy. Intriguing days out close by include Portmeirion, with its fascinating Italian styled village designed by Clough Williams-Ellis and a day trip out on one of the nearby steam railways.
Porthmadog and Barmouth have stunning sandy beaches surrounded by the picturesque landscape. Both towns offer a variety of shops, cafes, weekly markets and leisure centres where you can play racquet sports, go to the gym or join an exercise class.
Further west lies on the Llŷn Peninsula you have the seaside towns of Criccieth, Pwllheli and Abersoch, whilst inland you have many interesting places to visit such as Blaenau Ffestiniog, famous for its slate mines, Beddgelert with Gelert’s Grave and Betws-y-Coed, home of the famous Swallow Falls.
